Green tea consumption is on the rise. With it's renowned health benefits and characteristic fresh flavor, there's a lot to love about green tea. But what even is green tea? What qualifies as "green" vs "green-ish"? The traditional definition of green tea could encompass a number of other styles of tea that are not considered "green". Is this an oversight, or deliberate? Is it time to reconsider what constitutes green tea?

• Gyokuro (Japanese green tea)
• Flowers in December (Taiwan "green" oolong)
• Double Dragon (Chinese "green" Pu-erh)
