What to Expect

We invite you to our cozy tea house, to enjoy a carefully curated selection of four of our artisanal teas. Participate in an expert-led, guided tasting using traditional tea brewing styles. Imagine a wine tasting, but with tea!

Tea tastings typically last one hour, and may include gong fu cha "tea ceremony" brewing or European style brewing, depending on teas selected.

Public vs Private Tastings

  • Public Tea Tastings

    Public Tea Tastings & Educational Sessions are hosted on our schedule, and anyone can sign up for one or as many as they like. The teas are specially selected on a particular theme. Public Tea Tastings are typically held on Saturday or Sunday mornings. A great way to meet your fellow tea enthusiasts!

  • Private Tea Tastings

    Private Tea Tastings are scheduled at your convenience, for 3 to 6 guests. You may select any four teas from our catalog, or we can make recommendations based on your preferences. After the guided portion of the tasting, you are free to linger over the teas as you like.

    We offer a two person tasting, including three teas and lasting 30-45 minutes. Please inquire for parties larger than six.

  • Pricing

    Public Tea Tastings are priced as specified in the schedule. Private Tea Tastings are $35 per person. Tea Tastings do not include food. For Privae Tea Tastings, items off our regular menu may be ordered separately, to be served after the guided portion.

    Private tea tastings require reservation at least three days in advance.
