2026 China Trip: Mountain Terroir - Sunday July 26

One thing we learned on our recent trip to Yunnan was the importance of terroir - the specific flavor notes of a particular region.  Unique micro-climates, differences in elevation and biodiversity have a noticeable impact on the resulting tea.  Tasting single-origin teas is a great way to highlight regional character.

In this tasting we'll be exploring raw Pu-erh from four of the famous mountains of Yunnan.  Some of these teas will become part of our product line, others are a one time treat!

Teas being tasted will include (subject to change):

• Tien Men Shan - Yiwu Mountain - 2017
• Jingmai Mountain - 2017
• Lao Ban Zhang
