“She has a pleasant abiding, who dwells in equanimity and mindfulness”

Smooth as silk, this Korean black tea blended with wild pear is a surprisingly contemplative experience.  Black tea is normally associated with robust flavors and invigorating energy, but this is an all day black tea for smoothing rough edges.

Hadong county in South Korea has been famous for tea since tea seeds were brought from the Tang Dynasty in China, over 1000 years ago.  The natural environment, where Jirisan Mountain and the Seomjingang river meet, is especially conducive to tea cultivation.

But more than just tea is grown in Hadong.  Wild pears, often called Korean Pears or Asian Pears, are also grown here, and their prized aroma and flavor make a transcendent addition to this one of a kind tea.
