Greek Mountain tea has long been harvested on the slopes of Mount Olympus. Also known as sideritis or ironwort, it was given those names in the belief that tea brewed from these flowers and leaves could heal wounds caused by iron weapons.
Greek Mountain tea has traditionally been thought to benefit respiration and digestive health. Recent studies suggest the plant has similar anti-oxidant and stress relieving / anti-anxiety affects to camellia sinensis (the tea plant), while being naturally caffeine-free.
