This scented tea is inspired by Shay bil Maramiya - Palestinian Sage Tea. We blended our Rosy-fingered Dawn (Assam Black Tea from Chota Tingrai estate) with dried sage leaves to create this unique flavor experience.
There’s a hint of spice in the aroma, and a peppery note that plays at the tip of the tongue. The honey-sweet underpinnings of the Assam carry over, with the soothing energy of an engaging tea. Rosy-fingered Dawn is transformed by the sage leaves, transitioning with the seasons to the Setting Sun.
Much like the tea leaves, sage leaves are also full of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, sage has long been used for oral hygiene, as it reduces plaque build-up, and can sooth mouth wounds and sore throats. Sage may support reproductive health, and evidence suggests it can relieve the symptoms of menopause.
